Dr. Taba actively advocates for both patients and physicians at the national level through the American College of Rheuma-tology and currently serves as Advocacy Chair for the Southern California Rheumatology Society.
She believes that advocacy is fundamental to practicing medicine effectively—fighting for improved healthcare access, better treatment options, and stronger patient protections at every level of the healthcare system.
